How long does a commissioned work take to do?

The time it take to finish an artwork revolves around the script chosen for a commissioned piece, how big the piece is, and how elaborate the design is. Simple pieces can take a couple days to a week. Some can take months or even years to do.

Can Arabic Calligraphy be given to Non Muslims?

Arabic Calligraphy was not meant to be exclusively for Muslims. Many people around the world, from different cultures and religions, do Arabic calligraphy.

In the time of the 4th Caliph, Ali bin Abi Talib, the importance of great handwriting were instilled once more and from there, the science of Arabic Calligraphy is usually attributed to him.
